iSOCRATES receives SOC 2 Compliant Organization Certification

SOC 2 is an auditing procedure that ensures we securely manage our clients’ data to protect interests of their organization and the privacy. For security-conscious businesses, SOC II compliance is a minimal requirement when considering a SaaS provider.

A SOC 2 Type II report focuses on the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Trust Service Criteria (formerly the Trust Service Principles). It examines a service provider’s internal controls and systems related to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy of data.

Non-Profit Specialist SIGMA Data Insights Acquired

In the US, marketing, advertising and data platforms specialist iSOCRATES has acquired membership industry and non-profit sector specialist SIGMA Data Insights. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

SIGMA Data Insights’ data scientists specialize in converting big data into insights, and ensuring clients’ data is updated with all key insights. The firm delivers analytics, strategy, and marketing technology solutions to drive customer retention, growth, and acquisition, and makes data accessible and ready to analyze.

Through the deal, SIGMA joins MADTech (MarTech, AdTech, and DataTech) firm iSOCRATES, and long-time SIGMA CEO and principal owner Stefan Willimann (pictured) will join iSOCRATES as a Partner and Practice Lead. The combined company, which will be known as iSOCRATES, employs 50 data and analytics professionals, as well as more than 100 software and data engineers, and media and marketing platform specialists.

Willimann comments: ‘This is a terrific example of ‘try before you buy’ for both firms. Our teams have been working really well with each other delivering 24/7/365 on behalf of our clients since the end of last year before negotiating our deal. Our corporate vision and values are aligned and our growth prospects appear excellent.’

Membership and Non-Profit industry Data and Analytics pioneer SIGMA unites with global MADTech leader iSOCRATES

The official announcement was made in St. Petersburg and Rochester, New York today. The move to acquire SIGMA Data Insights started earlier this year once iSOCRATES had proven to be a trusted and highly effective business solutions partner for SIGMA.
